Everybody knows that Belgium is the capital of chocolate. Thus, it’s no wonder that one of the biggest Belgic cities looks like a box of chocolates. The capital of Flanders is filled with small houses that can enchant and give the feeling that we are in some medieval fairy tale.

An island like a wallpaper

More often than not islands don’t really look like countries to which they belong to. They have their own communities and live their own lives. And perhaps that’s what attracts me to them.

A quick run through Brussels

I have only few hours to explore the city but that that’s perfect. The sun is shining and the city looks dazzling in the sunset light. All cafe places are overloaded with people. Brussel is bustling.

A day in Palma de Mallorca

The massive cathedral and the numerous windmills tower over the beautiful city which is located right by the sea. Palma has nothing to do with the resort city which I have imagined. The Old Town is charming and has a touch of many cultures which the city has experienced. It offers an endless array of galleries, historic monuments and good food.
